JOINT VS NUCLEAR FAMILY
In the heart of life's vast tapestry, two paths unfold,
Each with its unique tale, a story to be told.
One, the joint family, bound by ties of kin,
The other, nuclear, a smaller unit within.
In the joint family's hearth, generations reside,
Their laughter and their tears, in unity coincide.
Grandparents bestow wisdom, like ancient guiding trees,
Parents nurture dreams, like gentle, guiding breeze.
Siblings share their joys, through every rise and fall,
Their bonds forged in childhood, standing strong and tall.
Aunts, uncles, cousins, weave a web of care,
In this sprawling sanctuary, love fills the air.
Contrast the nuclear family, a smaller, tighter knot,
Parents and children, in a compact, cozy plot.
Their world is intimate, with walls close and tight,
Yet within this nucleus, love shines bright.
Parents, pillars of strength, provide shelter and grace,
Their love, a guiding beacon, in life's endless race.
Children, blossoms of hope, their laughter pure and free,
In the sanctuary of home, they grow and they flee.
In this smaller circle, decisions swiftly made,
Responsibilities shared, burdens gently laid.
Yet sometimes, solitude may knock on the door,
In this compact cocoon, yearning for more.
Each family, a chapter, in life's grand design,
Whether joint or nuclear, their stories intertwine.
For in the end, it's not the structure that prevails,
But the love and bonds that weather all gales.
